Heritage Village understands that this is a very difficult time for our residents, staff, family members and friends. We take the COVID-19 Virus very seriously. To minimize the potential exposure of COVID-19 in our communities, we have implemented additional precautionary methods. We want to assure you that we are following all federal and state guidelines in order to protect our residents and staff.
Our employees are going through a screening process daily, to make sure that they are not showing symptoms of the virus before they enter the building. In addition, employees are wearing masks at all times in the building for an added layer of protection. Our residents are being monitored frequently to ensure that any resident showing potential symptoms is tended to quickly.
At this time, we are allowing both indoor and outdoor visitation. The visitor must first call for an appointment. Upon arrival the visitor will need to pass a screening questionnaire and have their temperature taken. If those criteria are met the visitor will need to wear a mask, maintain six feet of distance and visit no more than 20 minutes.
To accommodate the needs of our residents, family members and friends are welcome to coordinate with staff to drop things off at the facilities or set up phone/video calls to speak with their loved ones. If you would like to send a personalized card to a resident, please CLICK HERE.
As of today, we have no cases of COVID-19 in our facilities from employees or residents. We will do our utmost to keep this trend continuing.
This is an evolving situation that we will continue to monitor and respond to proactively. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Facility Executive Director or Director of Nursing.
